A pioneer in his field, Michel Deutsch founded Betts Plastics Co. in 1942 and was cleared during WWII by the government and DuPont Corporation to experiment with a classified material called plastic. He fabricated displays, household items, and parts for the government. Later, Betts Plastics expanded into the fields of injection molding, hot stamping and silk screening.

Since 1956, Betts Plastics has been a major supplier of miniature flag bases and staffs to the international flag industry.

In 1988, Betts Plastics merged with Marmic Enterprises Inc., an advertising specialty company founded by Michel’s son, Gary.

While the company now goes by the name Marmic Enterprises, it has never forgotten that the success and reputation it enjoys was founded in quality products and customer service.

Under Gary's leadership, Marmic has vastly expanded its customer base, has standardized product packaging for flag bases, has designed new molds to allow bases to stack, maximizing shipping and storage efficency, and ships 98% of all orders the day they are received. Today, Marmic is opening new markets and boosting corporate branding efforts by imprinting bases and staffs to promote corporate identities and new products.

By continuing our tradition of providing superlative quality and exemplary service, we look forward to earning your business.

" We make an impressive stand."
